Wedding Wednesday - Adri & Jarrett - Historic Hotel Bethlehem - 6 years later!
It was New Year's Eve, 6 years ago when Adrianne & Jarrett said their I Dos.
Their wedding was at the beautiful Historic Hotel Bethlehem, and to say I was nervous and intimidated was an understatement. Adrianne and Jarrett and their amazing families were wonderful and totally put me at ease. They are seriously the nicest people on earth. The day was perfect, filled with love and laughter and an Elvis impersonator!
I am so thankful that I have continued to be a part of their lives, photographing both of their little girls' dedications and keeping in touch. I absolutely love my couples and love following along as their families grow.
Wedding Wednesday - My Very First Wedding - Hellertown, PA
I had been in business for about a year when I got the call. Christina was a friend of a friend and she asked the question...
"Do you do wedding photography?"
I had always wanted to shoot weddings, but was so afraid to take the plunge. It seemed so scary and so much responsibility. Up until this moment, I was just content doing family sessions. Christina put me at ease and we hit it off, she wanted me to shoot her most important day of her life! I spent the next few months learning as much as I could about wedding photography, meeting with the venue and with Christina & Mike. The big day came, and with butterflies in my stomach, I shot my very first wedding.
It was June of 2010.
I loved all of it, working with the couple, their families and friends. Meeting new wedding professionals and being a part of something huge. Creating a beautiful timeline of their most amazing day. I never looked back, over the next year, I worked hard to upgrade my equipment, learn as much as I could, attend workshops and market myself as a wedding photographer.
I will forever be grateful to Christina and Mike who put their trust in me.

I love this family, I mean I really love them...They have been with me since they were just starting their beautiful family and I have been able to capture so many important milestones. I love that the kiddos are comfortable with me and I absolutely love chasing them around! The Grist Mill was the perfect location for this shoot.
